This is a remix I did on Jeff Sampson’s original vocal track. Much heavier than the first version of this song!

Jeff Sampson and I collaborated on this song this past fall. Jeff wrote the lyrics and sang; I did the loops and guitar, and the mix.

This is several tracks of semi-mangled pianos from Output’s Arcade instrument (a blast to work with). This clip sounds best in headphones. Hmmm… what should I add?

I’ve been doing all my songwriting work in Studio One for the past few months, but for this idea I needed Alchemy, and that lives only in Logic. The “vocals” are from the Dream Voices library (a fave going back to pre-Apple Alchemy days). The bass is a mangled piano from Output’s Signal. I want to build on this idea, but for now, enjoy….
